superfoods to the rescue

Once upon a time, I worked with Jennifer S. And she turned me on to the superfoods.

In honor of her birthday (or perhaps because Trader Joe's had some lovely organic yams), Cass and I ate an all-superfood dinner last night.

Our menu:
Turkey sausage with sundried tomatoes, olives, and feta
Steamed organic broccoli in the slightest amount of butter, salt, and pepper
Organic mashed yams with butter and brown sugar
Charlie's Best Bread organic oat flour and sunflower seed dinner rolls
Sparkling blueberry juice
Homemade banana bread
