I perused Nick Wood's beautiful photography book, 360 Paris, yesterday.As I leafed through the images, I was struck by this inscription, which appears (in English) in a doorway inside the Shakespeare & Company Bookstore in Paris.
"Be not inhospitable to strangers
Lest they be angels in disguise."
