san diego red dress run 2006

It's finally time! I'm doing the Red Dress Run tonight.
The run begins and ends at 1050 N. Harbor Drive (Broadway Pier), near the cruise terminal. Run Start (Hares Off) is at 6:45 p.m.-ish.
Trevor, Nolan, and I bought our dresses last weekend. Nolan's is a fetching psychedelic number with swirly grey, black, and white patterns that form a dizzying symphony in knit polyester.

Trevor's sleeveless cocktail dress is made of a flowy crêpe material and features a plunging neckline and a gathered empire waist, accented with a small rosette underneath his (tasteful) decolletage. Mine is the exact same. But my cleavage isn't as nice as his. (Damn my jogbra!)

If you want to watch the spectacle, be my guest. And bring a camera!

FYI: it's too late to register (the thing filled up months ago), but it's never too late to have a drink and laugh. And to watch hundreds of men and women take to the streets in red dresses and fierce accessories as they raise money for the Challenged Athletes Foundation.
