Actually, it was dying before today. But the endodontist finished the job.
I've had weird tooth pain off-and-on since new year's. Although my dentist endeavored to save the tooth in March, a sudden throbbing sensation this week made it clear that tooth number 5 was not happy. My endodontist said that's because it was dying.
I have to say that the worst part (so far) was getting numbed up. (I'm not a fan of injections, much less the kind that go into your palate.) But I'd much rather get numbed up than have a root canal sans anesthesia.
